In the year 2007 I watched
4
movies in the theater.

Spider-Man 3
Pretty to look at, but just overwrought with story/character problems. Too many villains and not enough time to develop all of them.

Sicko
A movie that everyone should see to realize the failures of our current health care system as compared to the rest of the world. I would like to have seen more solutions to the problem instead of continually harping on the costs of U.S. health care compared to socialized health care. I think everyone can agree that this problem needs to be addressed. Kudos Michael Moore for making this film.

Transformers
Go in expecting a summer popcorn action flick and you won't be disappointed. Start applying logic, and it unravels. Characters were close enough to the classic cartoons to satisfy me. The product placement was overwhelming since it seemed like a 2 hour GMC commercial. Fun movie to watch.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets
I have certain expectations from a Jerry Bruckheimer film: car chases, superfluous action and a spoon-fed plot. Check all three off the list with this movie. And to say Book of Secrets takes liberties with history is the understatement of the year. Although the movie entertained me, I feel dumber for having watched it.
