Iron Man
Most comic book movies excel in one part of the movie while lacking in others. Iron Man does not have this problem. Story, acting, special effects, accuracy and even music are maintained at an above average level throughout this film. Could be the best movie in the comic book movie genre.

The Incredible Hulk
Much better than the 2003 version. When in doubt, add more action shots seems to have worked well here. Ed Norton is a better Banner than Eric Bana, although I missed Jennifer Connelly since Liv Tyler sort of misses the mark as Betty Ross. The chemistry between the leads is still there though. Nods to the 70s TV series was appreciated. The movie had a nice pace. The Hulk looked less like Shrek this time around, but the battles with another CGI character looked cartoony at times.

The Dark Knight
Well paced action packed movie with a dense story and developed characters. Heath Ledger stands out in his performance of The Joker. Would like to have seen a little more of Batman's perspective. The movie studder-steps its way to the ending due to poor editing, but holds up none the less. The Joker/Batman symbiotic dynamic gets played up quite well. A little gruesome in parts, but the violence is not explicit. Can't wait for the next one.
